What we do
Lifestyle medicine connects scientific knowledge with everyday life: how we eat, move, sleep, manage stress and build relationships. These habits are an important part of maintaining health, prevention and care for people with chronic non-communicable diseases.
Change takes place in real-life circumstances. Genetics, the environment, working conditions and the support available to us also influence health. Health professionals and the people they care for work together to find practical, sustainable steps.
At CROLMA, we bring different professions together to connect lifestyle medicine with everyday practice. Support for changes in habits is part of comprehensive care, alongside medicines and other treatments when needed.

Change in the community
We believe change is also needed at a societal level, especially in causes of chronic disease such as deprivation, health inequality, social isolation and a lack of hope.
Our aim is to integrate lifestyle medicine into healthcare, encourage multidisciplinary collaboration in research, education and practice, and promote a healthy lifestyle to reduce the burden of chronic disease on society.
